This is a rare Prototype 1905/6 however with a brass frame .
this is a 4 inch example where I believe this was made to test proportions and what size of line guides and tooling were required before casting allow billets etc .
This is quite an historic reel in my opinion and has Hardy D.N.A. in its bones
