We find ourselves answering a lot of the same questions so thought it would be useful to answer some of the common questions here.
Will I be charged taxes due to Brexit?
No. As we are located on a bordering town (between the South and the North of Ireland) we take advantage of two postal services. If you live in Europe we will ship your items using our postal service "An Post," as the South of Ireland is in the European Union there are no taxes placed on your items. Likewise, if you are ordering from the UK we will ship your item using our UK postal service "Royal Mail" where there will also be no taxes added.
Do you buy fishing tackle?
Yes. Please attach some photographs and we will respond to let you know if anything is of interest to us. We are only interested in items in good condition as we pride ourselves in selling vintage (and some modern) items in good usable condition.
Do you take cheque?
Yes. We do accept cheque as a form of payment, however we will wait for the cheque to clear before shipping your item.
Do you accept offers?
Generally for repeat customers we accept offers. However, if we think an offer is reasonable we will accept it..we are very fair! There have been a few unhappy potential customers recently feeling disheartened with rejected offers, comparing us to other businesses. To explain - we do not have the same mark up on items as larger businesses. We are only a small business so sometimes it is not possible to accept your offer as quite simply because we would be selling at a loss.
However, as we are small you will get our full attention and only the best quality items.
Do you accept payment over the phone?
Yes. If there is an item you are interested in please email us and ask us to place the item on hold, then we can set up an invoice and arrange a phone call. Within your email please include -
- Your full name
- Your Address and postcode/zip (also billing address if it's different)
- The item you wish to purchase (including the reference number if possible)
- Your phone number
How can I trust your business is reputable?
We have been in business since 2008. Please check our Trust Pilot reviews to see our customer's feedback. Feel free to call us to speak to us prior to placing an order. We understand when buying expensive items you want to be 100% sure who you are buying from.
