Here we have an extremely rare Alex Martin "Thistle" Dingley reel.
Reads "Alex Martin Glasgow Edinburgh Aberdeen"
Made by Dingley as a legitimate factory made left hand winding reel with phosphor bronze line guide. The reel was made for Alex Martin and is entitled "Thistle."
The condition is near mint or lightly used. The foot is full length, 3" long, 95% of original leading still exists, this is probably the rarest Dingley you will ever find.
